NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Here’s a look at the NEBRASKALand Days events for June 16th.

Pickup your rolls from the Sweet Saloon. New orders are no longer being accepted due to the high amount of orders. Pickup for the rolls will continue until the 17th.

Rodeo Slack begins at 8am and features the best of the PRCA. It is free and open to the public at the Wild West Arena.

The annual kids parade goes down at the Westfield Shopping Center. Registration is at 10am with the event beginning at 10:30am. A bagged lunch and prizes will be available. The Rodeo Queens will be in attendance.

The annual quilt show begins and runs from 9am until 5pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Amazing displays of quilts past and present will be featured.

The crowning of Miss Rodeo Teen Nebraska is at 1:30pm at the Mid-Plains Community College South Campus Theater. Reigning winner Brylee Thompson will be in attendance to pass down her crown. The cost to attend is $10 for adults and $5 for those ages 12 and under.

Later that night, the Miss Rodeo Nebraska crown will be awarded. Reigning winner Joeli Walrath will take part in the tradition of passing down her title. It comes on the first night of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo, which comes at 8pm. Also starting is the beer garden and food court as well as the River City Festival.

News 2 will be conducting their 6pm newscast live from the Wild West Arena.
