NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The NEBRASKAland Days Competitive Art Show is in full swing at the Prairie Arts Center.

This is the third year the center has hosted the event. This year, 83 artists from across the state are showcasing their photography, sculptures and acrylics.

“A lot of people are very removed from the western world and the western culture and this gives them just a little bit of an insight into what makes up the western lifestyle,” said Brandy Jamerman, PAC event coordinator.

The winners will be announced during the artists reception on June 22.

The art show continues through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
