NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - After some snow and cold air to start off the workweek, we are back to a nice warming and clearing trend. We have one more cooler than average day on Thursday with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the 30s. Then we look to warm up nicely with highs rising through the 40s into the 50s through the weekend. We stay warm, dry, and sunny until mid-week next week.

Tuesday a little disturbance will work through, giving us clouds and a cool northerly wind. We will stay mainly dry with highs in the upper 30s. Friday and Saturday a high pressure system takes over. We will have sunshine and a SW wind will warm us up and keep us dry. Highs rise from the upper 40s to the upper 50s.

Sunday and Monday another high is in charge as we will remain sunny and highs will stay in the mid- to upper 50s, which is about 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. The cool air will stay to our north until Tuesday, when a cold front will move through. There is a slight chance of snow showers and highs will fall into the 30-35 range. Then by Wednesday, another cooler high will work down from the north, it will give us some sun, but highs only near 30.
