We will get a few warm days and a few cool days this week, as a train of low pressure systems continues to ride right over us. Tuesday we are back to sunshine with highs warming up to the upper 40s and lower 50s. Cooler air works in for Wednesday as we’ll have partly cloudy skies, but stay mainly dry; highs will fall into the mid-40s. Then we have a warm surge of air on Thursday; highs will be in the low- to mid-60s with partly cloudy skies during the daylight hours; then later in the day we’ll have a good chance of rain showers as another low works in. Through Friday we keep a chance of rain/snow showers with highs falling back to near 40, with breezy conditions.

High pressure is back for Saturday, along with another warmup; under sunny skies, highs rise to the upper 50s. Then for Sunday, mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will be the story, with a southerly wind spiking temperatures into the mid- to upper 60s. It will be windy in the Panhandle through the weekend, with a persistent breeze across Central NE. Monday we cool into the lower 50s west and the upper 50s east as more clouds work in; later in the day we have more chances for rain showers, as the above-average-moisture pattern continues.
