Snow Tapers But Bitter Cold Persists

WEATHER ALERT INTO MONDAY MORNING FOR BITTER COLD

Sunday overnight the placement of the snow bands drift south of Interstate 80. Still some light snow will be possible in the North Platte area overnight but the focus for moderate to heavy snow will be in the southern most counties of Southwest Nebraska. A third band of snow is evolving out of Western Kansas and will push northeast into Southern Nebraska late tonight. By Monday morning most of the leftover snow will be to the east of the region. Roads across the region are snowpacked and and visibility are compromised in counties to the south.
