More sunshine and warmth to start the workweek

Updated: 7 hours ago

A dual high pressure system is back in charge of our forecast until mid-week. When you see the two highs on the weather maps, you can expect lots of sunshine and warmer than average temperatures, and that’s what we have until Thursday. It turns breezy for Wednesday and Thursday but still sunny; highs remain in the upper 70s to lower 80s east, and low- to mid-80s west. Then on Friday, most of the daylight hours look dry, but by evening, a system will give us a chance of showers, and maybe a rumble of thunder in our western counties.
